Job Overview:
As a Computer Operator in an Grocery Supermarket, your primary responsibility is to efficiently manage and oversee computer systems and related equipment to support the smooth functioning of the store's operations. You will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of inventory, sales, and other essential data.

Key Responsibilities:
1. **Data Entry and Management**:

- Input and update product information, prices, and stock levels into the computerized system.
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry to reflect inventory changes, sales transactions, and other relevant information.

2. **Inventory Control**:

- Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent stockouts or overstocks.
- Generate reports on inventory turnover, slow-moving items, and other relevant metrics.

3. **Sales Support**:

- Process sales transactions accurately through the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Generate sales reports and analyze trends to support decision-making.

4. **System Maintenance**:

- Regularly perform system backups to safeguard data integrity.
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor technical issues related to computers, printers, and other equipment.

5. **Communication**:

- Collaborate with store management and other departments to ensure seamless information flow.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers and vendors regarding product information, orders, and deliveries.

6. **Customer Service**:

- Assist customers with inquiries related to product availability, prices, and promotions.
- Provide support for loyalty programs and customer accounts.

7. **Compliance**:

- Ensure compliance with data protection and privacy regulations.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures related to computer system usage.

8. **Reporting**:

- Prepare and distribute regular reports on sales performance, inventory levels, and other relevant metrics.

9. **Training**:

- Train new staff on the use of computer systems and software.
- Conduct refresher training for existing staff to enhance efficiency.

10. **Continuous Improvement**:

- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
- Stay updated on technological advancements relevant to the role.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in computer science is a plus.
- Proven experience as a computer operator or in a similar role, preferably in the retail or FMCG sector.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic troubleshooting skills for computer and equipment issues.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹6,000.00 - ₹13,000.00 per month
