**Description**
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients under the supervision of registered nurses and healthcare providers, ensuring adherence to established nursing protocols, standards, and procedures.
- Assess patients' health status, perform nursing assessments, and collect relevant patient data, including vital signs, symptoms, and medical history, to develop individualized care plans and monitor patients' progress.
- Administer medications, injections, and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers, following medication administration protocols, dosage calculations, and medication reconciliation processes to ensure patient safety and efficacy of treatments.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and mobility, while promoting independence and preserving dignity.
- Perform nursing procedures and interventions, such as wound care, catheterization, suctioning, and tracheostomy care, using aseptic techniques and infection control measures to prevent complications and promote healing.
- Monitor patients' condition, observe for changes in clinical status, and report any abnormalities or concerns to registered nurses or supervisory staff promptly, ensuring timely intervention and appropriate escalation of care.
- Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families, offering a compassionate presence, active listening, and therapeutic communication during times of distress or uncertainty.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members, including physicians, registered nurses, allied health professionals, and support staff, to coordinate patient care, implement care plans, and achieve positive patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatment options, medication management, and self-care strategies, empowering them to participate in their care and make informed decisions about their health.
