**Global Finance & Business Management (“GF&BM”) India** is a combined Line of Business-aligned (LOB-aligned) finance & business support team located in India and is part of JPMorgan’s global capability center (GCC). We are part of the Office of the CFO (OCFO) organization within JPMorgan, which has 13000+ people across the globe, majority of whom are tasked with managing the firm’s Finance function, responsible for reporting quarterly earnings and complying with regulatory requirements along with managing the firm’s capital.

GF&BM India was established in September 2002 and currently we have a network of more than 3400+ professionals based out of our Mumbai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad offices who support four main “pillars” of work - Controllers, Planning & Analysis, Finance Operations and Business Client & Products. The teams in India are aligned to the respective LOBs that they support which include Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB), Commercial Banking (CB), Consumer and Community Banking (CCB), Asset & Wealth Management (AWM) and Corporate/Firmwide functions. **About the Team**

Corporate Investment Banking (CIB) Finance & Business Management India is one of the first group to be set up in India in Global Finance and has since grown its presence across Mumbai & Bengaluru into a 800+ people organization. The group is accountable for diverse functional teams and has a significant footprint of the global Finance organization supporting Corporate Investment Banking business and regulators across all regions.

Over the years, the teams have continued to provide value add to the global finance organization through business insights, technical accounting skills, data analytics, technological enhancements and standardization across lines of business. The key focus areas in the immediate future are driving teams to adapt the skills of the future, digital transformation and enhance product & regulatory reporting framework.

The CIB UK Legal Entity Control team is responsible for accounting, reporting and oversight of J.P. Morgan’s UK legal entities. With ownership of strategically key legal entities, the team’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to preparation of financial statements (both USGAAP and local GAAP, Federal & SEC regulatory filings, monthly close of entity books & records, analytics, currency risk management, entity specific accounting policies, legal entity planning, forecasting, strategy initiatives and overall legal entity maintenance.

**About the Role**

**Primary Responsibilities**:
As a Sr. Associate in the UK Legal Entity Control team, you will be responsible for day-to-day management of financial information, delivery, integrity, and control of the financial statements for UK LE’s.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Produce key disclosures contained within the UK statutory financial statements, including audit support and files.
- Full responsibility for preparing IFRS 9 disclosures and taking the lead as the key point of contact for UK reporting, attending all working group meetings and disseminating information across the wider function (LEC and Regulatory reporting) as required.
- Support technical UK GAAP/IFRS accounting analyses including accounting memos and templates.
- Support various projects and initiatives which impact the legal entity including product, Infrastructure, Regulatory, Compliance and other business driven initiatives.
- Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders including PwC, Product Control, Tax, Regulatory Reporting, Technology and Corporate teams to enable an effective coordination of the process.
- Identify and drive enhancements to current processes.
- Work closely with PwC auditors to ensure the issues are resolved and the deadlines are met.
- Prepare board reports and present to the board of directors the statutory financial statements.
- Co-ordinate various statutory financial statements production & audit tasks and support the team on various initiatives.
- Part - Qualified accountant (i.e. CA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA etc.) with at least 3 years In
