**Brief Description about the Project**
- To work closely with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and their families, exploring into their lives, and developing a comprehensive assessment method.
- To develop an intervention model suitable for teenagers and young adults with ASD.
**Junior Psychologist**
**Position Starting**:1th May, 2025

**Salary**: 40,000/-**Increased based on experience possible
**Language**:English and Kannada, Knowledge of atleast one more Indian language is desirable.
**Experience**:Minimum Experience of 1 year required
- Proven experience working with adolescents and/or young adults with autism and related developmental conditions.
- Familiarity with psychometric tools and evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
**Preferred Qualifications**:Master’s or Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology (or equivalent) from an accredited institution.

**Roles Responsibilities**:
- **Psychometric Assessments**
- Perform standardized assessments for teenagers and young adults with autism.
- Prepare detailed assessment reports outlining clinical findings and recommendations.
- **Clinical Assessments & Treatment Planning**
- Conduct thorough clinical evaluations for clients with autism and developmental disabilities.
- Formulate and implement individualized therapeutic plans, liaising with a multidisciplinary team as necessary.
- **Community-Based Interventions**
- Participate in life skills programs and other community-based initiatives aimed at improving the everyday functioning of teens and young adults.
- Conduct outreach visits to local NGOs and rehabilitation centers to create awareness, develop collaborative efforts, and liaise for potential placements or transitional programs for adolescents in our cohort.
- **Research Collaboration**
- Participate in ongoing research initiatives, contributing to study design, data collection, and analysis.
- Draft research project proposals and coordinate all approval-related processes, including submission to the Institutional Ethics Committee (IEC).
- **Resource Person & Training**
- Deliver workshops, presentations, and other educational sessions to enhance awareness and best practices in autism care.
- **Therapeutic Interventions**
- Provide psychotherapy sessions targeting emotional regulation, behavioural challenges, and social competencies.
- Design and facilitate social skills training, sexuality education, and other group programs tailored for teenagers and young adults.
- **Parent & Family Support**
- Offer counselling services to parents, helping them understand and support their child’s needs effectively.
- Coordinate and lead parent programs and support groups, including interventions for siblings of individuals with autism.
