**Power BI Admin**

**Location: Mumbai, India**

**Years of Experience: 3 to 5 yrs**

A Power BI Administrator is the tech whiz behind the scenes of an organization's data analysis. They handle the setup, configuration, and overall health of the Power BI platform, ensuring users have the tools and resources to create insightful reports and dashboards.

**Management and Configuration**:

- Setting up and managing user permissions and roles within Power BI
- Configuring workspace settings and security protocols
- Overseeing data source connections and gateways
- Monitoring platform usage and performance
- Implementing upgrades and migrations

**Technical Expertise**:

- Understanding data connectivity methods (ODBC, Azure Data Lake, etc.)
- Troubleshooting data refresh issues
- Working with Azure Active Directory for user authentication
- Automating tasks and workflows (using scripting languages)

**Collaboration and Support**:

- Partnering with business stakeholders to understand data needs
- Providing guidance and support to Power BI report developers
- Staying updated on the latest Power BI features and best practices

**Additionally, some Power BI Admin roles might involve**:
Designing and developing Power BI reports (though the primary focus is on administration) Working with other IT professionals on data infrastructur

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: ₹8,728.97 - ₹44,532.92 per month
