**Location: Pune**

**Experience: 7 - 8 years**

**Job Summary**:The Network L3 Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of advanced network systems. This role requires a deep understanding of network architecture, protocols, security, and performance optimization to ensure the reliable and efficient operation of the company’s network infrastructure.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Network Design and Implementation**:

- Design, plan, and implement complex network solutions that meet business needs and requirements.
- Develop and maintain network diagrams and documentation.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies and solutions to improve network performance and security.
- Configuration & testing of new network devices with help of OEM and Vendors

**2. Network Maintenance and Troubleshooting**:

- Monitor network performance and proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting and problem resolution for network-related incidents.
- Coordinate with other IT teams to resolve network-related issues and ensure mínimal downtime.
- Responsible entire network issues and scopes
- Analysis of logs and troubleshooting

**3. Network Security**:

- Implement and manage network security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to ensure compliance with security policies and standards.
- Respond to and mitigate network security incidents.
- Implement privilege rights based on user rights for controlled access. Customer’s concerned people in a prescribed format will authorize all requests for user creation, modification and deletion

**4. Network Optimization**:

- Analyze network traffic patterns and optimize network performance.
- Implement quality of service (QoS) policies to prioritize critical network traffic.
- Work with vendors and service providers to optimize network services and performance.
- Continual Service Improvement Planning and executions
- Performance tuning implementation suggested by OEM or product vendor

**5. Documentation and Reporting**:

- Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, changes, and procedures.
- Generate regular reports on network performance, security, and capacity.
- Preparing, maintaining and updating of SOP and KB articles
- Periodic auditing if network devices
- Preparing root cause analysis

**6. Project Management**:

- Lead and participate in network-related projects, ensuring timely and successful completion.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide regular project updates.

**7. Mentoring and Support**:

- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior network engineers (L1/L2).
- Assist with training and knowledge sharing within the team.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**:Bachelor’s degree in Technology or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE, etc.), these are optional.
- **Experience**:Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on advanced network design, implementation, and troubleshooting.
- **Technical Skills**:

- Proficiency with network protocols and technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, etc.).
- Experience with network security technologies (e.g., firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS).
- Knowledge of network monitoring and management tools.
- Familiarity with cloud networking and virtualization technologies.
- Strong scripting and automation skills (e.g., Python, Ansible) are a plus.
- Knowledge of Handing and closure of Critical P1 network incidents
- Expertise Knowledge in network firewall and switches high availability
- Knowledge Network Load balancing knowledge
- Expertise Knowledge in Network devices firmware upgrades
- Expertise Knowledge in Implementation of network devices security
- Knowledge of Configuration-backup and management for networking devices
- Good exposure in Co-ordination with OEM
- Expertise in Network Infra capacity management

- Detail-oriented and organized.

**Working Conditions**:

- May require occasional on-call support and availability outside of regular business hours.
- May involve lifting and transporting network equipment.
