**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Supervise Housekeeping Staff**: Lead and manage a team of hospital housekeeping staff, including training, assigning tasks, and providing performance feedback.
- **Ensure Cleanliness Standards**: Oversee daily cleaning operations in patient rooms, operating rooms, corridors, public areas, and other facilities within the hospital, ensuring compliance with hygiene, sanitation, and infection control standards.
- **Infection Control**: Ensure adherence to infection control policies, including the use of appropriate cleaning and disinfecting agents in patient care areas.
- **Quality Control**: Perform regular inspections of cleaned areas and hospital rooms to ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and safety standards are met. Report issues and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- **Staff Scheduling**: Prepare and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage in all areas of the hospital, especially during peak times.
- **Inventory Management**: Monitor and manage the inventory of cleaning supplies, materials, and equipment, ensuring that they are stocked, safe to use, and stored properly.
- **Patient and Staff Requests**: Address any specific cleanliness requests from patients, visitors, or staff and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- **Training & Development**: Provide ongoing training and development for housekeeping staff on cleaning procedures, hospital protocols, safety standards, and infection control practices.
- **Reporting**: Maintain accurate records and reports regarding cleaning schedules, inventory levels, equipment maintenance, and any safety concerns or incidents.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with other departments, such as nursing, facilities, and infection control, to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are consistently upheld.

**Requirements**:

- **Experience**: Minimum of 1 years in a housekeeping or environmental services role, with at least 1 years in a supervisory or management position, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience working in a hospital or healthcare facility.
- HSC OR Graduation.
