**Role Description**

Nyaaya is looking for a Social Media and Legal Assistant to assist us with our content and communications work. We are looking for someone who is passionate about changing the way citizens interact with the law. Your primary task will be to assist the team in creating high-quality written and video content for our social media platforms, and managing Nyaaya’s social media calendar and posting, while ensuring the quality and accuracy of the final product. You will:

- Work with the Nyaaya team to create, curate, and execute its social media plans
- Conduct legal research for explainers, blogs, posts and videos, when required
- Ideate and produce at least 2 high-quality Instagram reels a month
- Come up with innovative social media campaign ideas
- Assist the Nyaaya Team with managing the social media campaigns calendar
- Write short blogs for the Nyaaya website in English on a biweekly basis

**Requirements**:
Essential
- Law student (4th or 5th year) or a recent graduate
- Strong writing and research skills
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
- Familiarity with social media algorithms, trends, hashtags, etc. across platforms.
- Excellent organisational and project management abilities, with an eye for detail.
- Proactive mindset, ability to take initiative and work independently with mínimal supervision.

Desirable
- Experience making high-impact social media reels and videos (short-form and/or long-form) and managing social media platforms
- Comfortable appearing on camera for creating engaging video content
- Fluency in any Indian language apart from English
- Prior publications in media and/or academic platforms

**Location, Duration, and Remuneration**
- This is a remote position
- A monthly stipend of INR 7,500 along with an experience certificate will be offered
