**Purchase Officer/engineer**
We are searching for a Mid Level - Purchase Officer/engineer; to join our growing team. As the purchasing officer/engineer, you will carry out all tasks in the purchase chain, including conducting research on potential vendors and suppliers, maintaining records. You should be able to negotiate pricing and transport costs.
Exceptional purchasing officers should be smooth negotiators with a keen eye for detail. Ability to work with different ranks of people including fellow colleagues, labour contractors, suppliers and clients alike
**Responsibilities**
- Sourcing requirements from site team effectively, and recognising priority
- Conducting product research and sourcing new suppliers and vendors
- Sourcing materials, goods, products, and services and negotiating the best or most cost-effective contracts and deals
- Performing inventory inspections and reordering supplies and stock as necessary.
- Conducting market research to keep abreast of emerging trends and business opportunities.
- Updating and maintaining records of all orders, payments, and received stock.
- Coordinating with the delivery team and following up on delays or orders that have been rescheduled.
- Attending product launches and networking with industry professionals.
- Establishing professional relationships with clients as well as vendors and suppliers.
- Conducting routine reconciliation for major purchase items site wise, and preparing reports for the same.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelors degree in civil engineering, business, logistics, or a related eld required.
- Previous experience in a similar position in the infrastructure industry is a must.
- Superb written and verbal communication and negotiation skills
- The ability to follow technical specications.
- Excellent networking and time management skills.
- Excellence in utility software such as MS office, ERP is a must

**Salary**: ₹8,086.00 - ₹31,000.00 per month
