**Key Responsibilities**:

- **
Nursing Staff Supervision & Leadership**
- Oversee and manage nursing staff, ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and healthcare standards.
- Assist in recruiting, training, and mentoring nursing personnel.
- Ensure proper staffing levels and allocate resources based on patient needs.
- **
Patient Care Management**
- Monitor and evaluate patient care services to maintain quality and safety standards.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care plans and ensure continuity of care.
- Address and resolve patient complaints and issues promptly.
- **
Operational and Administrative Duties**
- Support the Nursing Superintendent in developing and implementing policies and procedures for the nursing department.
- Manage scheduling, leave requests, and shift assignments to ensure coverage.
- Oversee inventory and ensure the availability of medical supplies and equipment.
- **
Compliance & Quality Assurance**
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, infection control standards, and quality benchmarks.
- Conduct audits, inspections, and quality assessments of nursing services.
- Participate in accreditation processes and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
- **
Training & Development**
- Coordinate and organize professional development programs for nursing staff.
- Conduct training sessions on new protocols, safety measures, and technology updates.
- Encourage skill development and up-to-date knowledge within the nursing team.
- **
Budgeting & Financial Management**
- Assist in budget planning for the nursing department, including cost control measures.
- Monitor and manage expenses, ensuring optimal resource utilization.
