Electroplating

Responsibilities:

- Perform all duties and tasks in a safe manner.

- Operate forklifts, manlifts, and scissor lifts.

- Work cohesively as a team to meet project timelines.

**Requirements**:

- Strong knowledge of applicable regulations, such as OSHA standards
- Proficient in using precision measuring instruments, hand tools, and forklifts
- Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues
- Familiarity with welding, construction painting, auto painting, fabricating, machining, and materials handling processes
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Must have reliable transportation for daily commute, with availability for overtime work.
- Capable of lifting 80lbs.
- Must be able to meet all safety requirements and procedures.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area at all times.
- Ability to work at a fast and steady pace.
- Able to work in heights, depths, confined spaces, and uncomfortable positions.
- Perform high quality work with strong attention to detail.
- Work is physically demanding and requires frequent bending, kneeling, reaching, and climbing and holding these positions for an extended time.

The Electroplating Operator is responsible for performing electroplating processes to coat metal parts with a thin layer of metal using electrical currents. The operator ensures high-quality finishes and adheres to safety, quality, and environmental standards during the electroplating process.

Key Responsibilities:

- Electroplating Operations: Set up and operate electroplating machines and equipment, ensuring proper immersion of parts into the plating bath, and correct voltage and current levels are maintained.
- Quality Control: Inspect plated parts for defects such as pitting, poor adhesion, or uneven plating, and make adjustments to the process as needed to meet specifications.
- Process Monitoring: Regularly monitor plating baths for chemical balance, temperature, and other factors to ensure optimal plating conditions.
- Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on electroplating equipment and ensure proper cleaning of tanks, anodes, and other components.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) to minimize risks associated with chemicals, electrical equipment, and other hazards.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of plating processes, production counts, and any deviations or quality issues that arise.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve any technical issues with plating equipment or processes, working closely with maintenance or engineering teams.
- Collaboration: Work with other team members and departments to ensure smooth production processes and meet production schedules.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or Graduation; technical certification or vocational training in electroplating or a related field is a plus.
- Prior experience in electroplating, metal finishing, or a related manufacturing field preferred.
- Basic knowledge of electroplating chemistry, techniques, and equipment.
- Ability to follow written instructions, quality standards, and safety procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
