**About the Role**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Design and deliver age-appropriate physical education lessons for students in line with State / ICSE / CBSE board requirements.
- Teach fundamental motor skills, physical fitness, games, team sports, and yoga (if applicable).
- Organize intra-school and inter-school sports competitions and physical fitness programs.
- Monitor and assess students’ physical development and performance.
- Promote sportsmanship, discipline, teamwork, and personal well-being.
- Identify and train students for zonal/district/state-level sports events.
- Maintain sports equipment and ensure safety of all students during physical activities.
- Collaborate with academic staff for integrated sports-learning activities.
- Prepare annual PE plans, progress reports, and documentation for school records.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Physical Education (B.P.Ed / M.P.Ed) from a recognized university.
- Prior teaching experience in a school setting preferred.
- Sound knowledge of physical fitness, games, sports rules, and coaching techniques.
- Excellent communication, motivation, and leadership skills.
- First aid knowledge and a proactive approach to student safety.

**Desirable Attributes**:

- Certification in yoga, athletics, or coaching preferred.
- Ability to mentor students for competitive sports.
- Passionate about health, fitness, and student well-being.
- Energetic, approachable, and a strong role model for students.
