As an Oracle DBA (Database Administrator), you will be responsible for the management and administration of Oracle databases within the organization. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the performance, availability, security, and integrity of the Oracle database systems.

**Responsibilities**:

- Installation and Configuration: Install and configure Oracle database software and related tools, ensuring proper setup and optimal performance.
- Database Design and Optimization: Collaborate with development teams to design and optimize database structures, including tables, indexes, and constraints, to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.
- Performance Monitoring and Tuning: Monitor database performance, identify bottlenecks, and tune the database for optimal performance. Implement performance tuning techniques such as index creation, query optimization, and memory management.
- Backup and Recovery: Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and minimize data loss. Perform regular backups, test recovery procedures, and maintain database backups and archives.
- Security and Access Control: Implement and maintain database security measures to protect sensitive data from unauthorized access. Manage user access, roles, and permissions to ensure data confidentiality and integrity.
- Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve database-related issues, such as performance problems, data corruption, and connectivity errors. Investigate and troubleshoot database errors and coordinate with vendors for support when needed.
- Capacity Planning: Monitor database capacity and growth trends, and plan for future resource requirements. Collaborate with system administrators to allocate appropriate system resources to the database.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation of database configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps. Generate regular reports on database performance, capacity, and maintenance activities.
- Collaboration and Support: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, system administrators, and network engineers, to provide database-related support, guidance, and solutions.

**Salary**: From ₹800,000.00 per year
