Site Supervisor

Be part of a multi-disciplined maintenance support team, reviewing existing maintenance procedures and determining putting in place future recommendations
- Provide day to day mechanical equipment support and advice to the maintenance teams
- Fluent with Inventory and Materials Management concepts, such as inventory control and analysis, material lead times, cost analysis, usage analysis
- Ensure safety of all employees and contractors working in operating unit or department by driving continuous improvement towards a true safety culture
- Supervision of site, at the various locations of installation, provide experience in mechanical industrial construction and contract supply completion
- Development work plan and follow ups on progress during the construction
- Examination mechanical design drawings and specifications
- Project scheduling assistance in and of evaluations for 3rd party contract bid development
- Develops and implements standard work procedures to continually improve overall team productivity
- Be able to make decisions based on knowledge and experience
- Commissioning duties for the Mechanical discipline
- Liaise and co-ordinate with different discipline Supervisors, Projects Engineers, End Users, Asset Holders and other client relevant departments
- Review the project planning and scheduling for projects during the construction phase, identify any construction slippages and assist in optimising the contractor's resources
- Assist superintendents in planning and coordinating mechanical work orders
- Interpret designs, drawings, and O & M manuals in locating and diagnosing trouble in mechanical equipment, components, and systems
- Involved in the installation of piping, pumps, valves and other associated mechanical equipment in support of plant modifications and repairs
- Ensure Mechanical Technicians follow predetermined checklist in performance of preventative maintenance of facility mechanical equipment and systems
- Review construction method statements, pre commissioning procedures and endorse red mark drawings and project dossiers
- Inspect construction works and materials in accordance with project Quality plans and Inspection & Test plans

Qualifications for mechanical supervisor
- Bachelor’s Degree in mechanical engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in same role with a solid history of leading a team
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and MS Project
- Strong ability to perform well under pressure and in stressful situations and circumstances
- Must display logístical thinking, critical thinking, multitasking skills, problem solving skills and decision-making skills
- Ability to develop and mentor team members

**Salary**: ₹25,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
