**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities:1. Teaching & Academic Delivery**
- Conduct lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions in Punjabi language and literature.
- Design and deliver course content aligned with the academic curriculum.
- Evaluate student performance through assessments, projects, and examinations.
- Use innovative teaching methods, including technology-enabled learning tools.

**2. Research & Publication**
- Undertake individual and collaborative research in Punjabi language, literature, or cultural studies.
- Publish papers in UGC-listed or peer-reviewed journals.
- Present research work at conferences, seminars, and workshops.
- Guide students in academic research and dissertations (if applicable).

**3. Curriculum Development**
- Participate in syllabus design, revision, and curriculum enrichment activities.
- Incorporate contemporary trends and regional literature in course planning.
- Promote interdisciplinary learning opportunities within the department.

**4. Student Mentorship & Support**
- Provide academic and career guidance to students.
- Encourage student participation in cultural, literary, and linguistic events.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

**5. Institutional & Departmental Contribution**
- Participate in departmental meetings, committees, and institutional programs.
- Assist in organizing seminars, workshops, and Punjabi literary events.
- Contribute to accreditation, quality enhancement, and outreach initiatives.

**Qualifications & Eligibility (As per UGC Norms)**:

- **Educational Qualification**:

- Master’s Degree in Punjabi with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade) from a recognized university.
- NET / SET / Ph.D. in Punjabi as per UGC regulations.
- **Experience**:

- Teaching or research experience at the university/college level preferred.
- Record of publications in reputed academic journals desirable.

**Skills & Competencies**:

- Strong command over Punjabi language, grammar, and literature.
- Excellent communication skills in Punjabi and English.
- Ability to engage students through interactive and innovative teaching methods.
- Commitment to academic excellence and cultural promotion.
- Proficiency in ICT tools for online/offline academic delivery.

Pay: ₹13,469.88 - ₹30,000.00 per month
