Electrical Technician

**Position Overview**:As an Electrical Technician at BQI Electric, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the proper installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment. You will collaborate with a team of professionals to deliver high-quality electrical solutions to our clients. Your technical expertise and attention to detail will contribute to the success and reputation of BQI Electric.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Installation and Maintenance**:Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, wiring, fixtures, and equipment in accordance with local codes and safety guidelines.
Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure accurate implementation of electrical designs.
Perform routine maintenance tasks, inspections, and tests to identify potential issues and prevent downtime.
Replace or repair faulty components, such as circuit breakers, switches, and outlets.

**Technical Expertise**:Understand electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to effectively diagnose and address electrical problems.
Stay updated with industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes related to electrical systems.

**Safety and Compliance**:Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working with electrical systems to prevent accidents, injuries, and hazards.
Maintain awareness of local, state, and national electrical codes to ensure installations and repairs meet required standards.

**Documentation**:Create and maintain accurate records of work performed, including diagrams, schematics, and maintenance logs.
Prepare reports detailing equipment conditions, repair recommendations, and project progress.

**Team Collaboration**:Collaborate with fellow technicians, engineers, and project managers to complete projects within deadlines and quality standards.
Provide assistance and guidance to junior technicians, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.

**Customer Interaction**:Interact professionally with clients to understand their electrical needs, explain technical issues, and provide solutions.
Maintain a customer-centric approach, ensuring their satisfaction with the services provided.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training in electrical systems is preferred.
- Valid electrician's license or certification, depending on local regulations.
- Proven experience as an Electrical Technician or similar role.
- Proficiency in electrical systems, circuitry, and components.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues.
- Familiarity with hand and power tools used in electrical work.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow technical instructions.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and clients.
- Physical stamina and the ability to work in varying environments, including confined spaces and heights.
- Commitment to safety protocols and practices.

**Working Conditions**:
