As an Azure IoT with Apache Airflow Engineer at InnoWave, you will be a key member of our IoT solutions team, responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable data processing pipelines. You will leverage Azure IoT services and Apache Airflow to build efficient workflows that enable real-time data ingestion, processing, and analysis, empowering our clients to derive valuable insights from their IoT devices.

**Responsibilities**:

- Solution Design: Collaborate with stakeholders to design end-to-end IoT solutions leveraging Azure IoT services and Apache Airflow, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance
- Pipeline Development: Develop and implement data processing pipelines using Apache Airflow, orchestrating the flow of data from IoT devices to storage and analytics platforms.
- Azure IoT Integration: Integrate Azure IoT Hub, Azure Stream Analytics, and other Azure services into the data processing pipelines, enabling seamless ingestion and processing of IoT data.
- Performance Optimization: Optimize data processing workflows for performance and efficiency, minimizing latency and resource utilization.
- Monitoring and Maintenance: Monitor pipeline performance and health, proactively identifying and addressing any issues or bottlenecks that may arise. Perform routine maintenance and updates to ensure the continued reliability of the pipelines.
- Documentation and Training: Document solution architectures, workflows, and best practices. Provide training and support to other team members and stakeholders as needed.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of strong experience with Azure IoT services, including Azure IoT Hub, Azure Stream Analytics, and Azure Functions.
- Proficiency in Apache Airflow and experience building and managing data pipelines using Airflow DAGs.
- Solid understanding of IoT protocols and standards (e.g., MQTT, OPC UA) and experience working with IoT devices and sensors.
- Experience with big data technologies such as Apache Kafka, Apache Spark, or Apache Flink is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
