Overview:
RTI International India is recruiting for a seasoned climate economist in N. Delhi office.
The position is an opportunity for an experienced climate professional, with expertise in climate and or finance to work in a motivating setting to sharpen their skills in research, technical implementation, business development, client management, and capacity development.
The selected individual will work collaboratively with colleagues in climate services, water, energy, and urban sector, cutting across divisions and RTI Home office.
Key deliverables will include providing technical assistance and project management for delivery of advisory assignments, support business development, contribute to thought leadership, and participate in internal research and development initiatives while working collaboratively with other staff.
This position will report to the Director and Head, based in New Delhi with flexible work arrangements.
**Responsibilities**:
- Lead ongoing and new projects including providing technical inputs to design, develop, and create various technical deliverables such as economic analysis, feasibility reports, techno-commercial inputs, design of business models etc., tender documents, financial instruments etc. in a range of sectors such as infrastructure, water, agriculture, energy etc.
-Collaborate with other RTI divisions to develop cross-sectoral concepts and research proposals as well as to deliver innovative solutions to financing issues across multitude of climate challenges.

Qualifications: About 15 years in managing large and complex projects relating to climate adaptation and finance on in a range of sectors. Previous experience of managing government and or donor funded projects is highly desirable.
-Team player and collaborative style is essential as the selected individual will have to work with a range of colleagues and stakeholders.
