**Qualification & Experience**
Masters in health economics, statistics, development economics, public health population studies or any other relevant field with strong background in research methods.
PhD in any of above/relevant fields will be preferred.
At least of five years of relevant professional work experience, showing at least 2 years involvement with health/social data monitoring and involvement in conducting and managing evaluation and research projects and programmes.
Good understanding of the technical methods employed in R &E efforts, such as the overall design, sampling approaches, sample size calculation and data collection approaches (e.g. reliability, internal/external validity, bias).
Knowledge of writing quality research papers, concept notes, terms of reference protocols, inception and final reports.
Proficient computer literacy, specifically advanced Excel and Word and Statistical Softwares (SPSS /STATA/R )
Developing objectives and designing research projects and proposals.
Contribute to producing high quality and varied research outputs for a range of audiences including analysis, report and presentations
Establish quality research processes. This includes monitoring research quality assurance processes through standard operating procedures, checklists, and guidance documents.
Contribute to identifying and synthesizing good practices and lessons learned for M&E, research, and program implementation into the scheme.
Work on establishing research partnerships with renowned research institutions.
Capacity building of the team as well as training across divisions on research study conduction.
Promote culture of quality research at NHA
Support and assist in any other activities work assigned by the leadership.
