Job Description - Regulatory Affairs Executive (FSSAI Licensing)

**Position Summary**:
Responsible for applying, managing, and ensuring timely renewal and compliance of FSSAI licenses and food-related statutory approvals for the company’s operations, products, and third-party manufacturing partners.

**Key Responsibilities**:
1. FSSAI License Application & Renewal
- Coordinate with legal, production, and documentation teams for submission.
- Manage renewals before expiry to avoid penalties.

2. Documentation & Submission
- Prepare and collect necessary documents: COI, GST, MOA, AOA, PAN, Aadhar, nominee details, etc.
- Ensure accurate submission on FoSCoS portal.
- Liaise with authorities for inspections or clarifications.

3. Label & Product Compliance
- Verify product labels for FSSAI compliance.
- Coordinate with R&D and packaging teams for approved product declarations.

4. Third-Party Manufacturing Compliance
- Ensure vendor FSSAI licenses are valid and appropriate.
- Maintain updated compliance files for all production partners.

5. Audits & Regulatory Updates
- Assist during audits or inspections related to food safety licensing.
- Stay updated with FSSAI circulars, amendments, and changes in norms.

6. Internal Reporting
- Maintain compliance trackers.
- Submit regular reports to management on license status and upcoming renewals.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred: Food Technology, Life Sciences, or Legal/Regulatory studies)
- Knowledge of FSSAI processes and the FoSCoS portal
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Detail-oriented with ability to manage timelines
- Experience: 1-3 years in FSSAI Licensing or Regulatory Affairs
