**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Supervise daily housekeeping operations and staff, ensuring work is carried out to high standards.
- Maintain daily registers and stock ledgers for housekeeping supplies and equipment.
- Keep accurate records for audit purposes.
- Address housekeeping-related issues and collaborate with other departments to provide timely solutions.
- Train housekeeping staff on the proper use and maintenance of machinery.
- Work with the Hospitality Manager to resolve any machinery-related problems.
- Ensure adherence to the Periodic Preventive Maintenance (PPM) schedule for all housekeeping equipment.
- Oversee the shift handovers and ensure responsibilities are clearly communicated.
- Notify the Hospitality Manager when stock items are at reorder levels.
- Ensure that housekeeping staff meet the hospital’s grooming and hygiene standards.
- Provide on-the-job training and orientation to new staff.
- Plan and manage the deployment of housekeeping staff to ensure effective coverage across all areas.
- Ensure all housekeeping activities comply with the hospital’s SOPs.
- Maintain high staff morale and motivation.
- Manage the duty roster and ensure adequate coverage for all shifts.
- Enforce health and safety regulations, particularly in hygiene and cleanliness.
- Maintain records of housekeeping assets and inventory.
- Coordinate training sessions and team meetings for continuous improvement.
- Ensure all cleaning schedules (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, etc.) are followed consistently.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Graduate or equivalent qualification.
- 3-5 years of experience in housekeeping, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting.
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures, equipment, and health & safety standards.
- Ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Evening shift
- Night shift
- Rotational shift
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Jalandhar, Punjab: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
