Purchase and Procurement (CONSTRUCTION)

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Bengaluru. As a Senior Manager of Purchases and Procurement at buildAhome, your day-to-day tasks include overseeing the procurement function for all construction materials of the company. You will be responsible for ensuring timely delivery of materials while optimizing costs, sourcing new vendors, quality checks, inventory management, relationship building and contract negotiation with vendors, and preparing purchase orders. You will also be responsible for leading a team of purchase and procurement executives and ensuring adherence to the company's policies and procedures.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree
- At least 8 years of relevant procurement experience in a construction or related industry, with at least 4 years in a managerial role.
- Experience in strategic sourcing, vendor management, contract negotiation, and inventory management
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Outstanding leadership and communication skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to build relationships with vendors and contractors
- Knowledge of construction materials, commercial terms, and laws pertaining to procurement
- Comfortable with technology, including Microsoft Excel, ERP software, and web-based procurement platforms
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and meet deadlines

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

**Salary**: ₹45,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
