We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Physical Education Teacher Head of Department (HOD) to join our growing team in the education sector.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement a comprehensive physical education curriculum that aligns with national standards and school goals.
- Design and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs and abilities of students.
- Monitor and assess students’ progress and provide individualized support where necessary.
- Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students, adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines.
- Coordinate and oversee sports teams, intramural activities, and other physical education-related extracurricular programs.
- Lead professional development sessions for teachers to enhance their understanding and teaching of physical education.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress and encourage their involvement in promoting a physically active lifestyle.
- Manage the physical education department budget and resources effectively.
- Stay updated with the latest research, trends, and best practices in physical education to continually evolve and improve the curriculum.
- Manage a team of physical education teachers, providing guidance, support, and fostering a collaborative work environment.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physical Education or a related field.
- Certified Physical Education Teacher with a valid teaching license.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience teaching physical education in a school setting.
- Proven leadership experience and the ability to effectively manage a team.
- Knowledge of current physical education trends, research, and best practices.
- Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork abilities.
- Commitment to promoting physical activity and educating students on the importance of leading a healthy lifestyle.
- Willingness to work unconventional hours, participate in school events, and attend professional development sessions.
