**Job Description - Retail Merchandiser**

Purpose of Job: Ensuring and improving the performance, productivity, efficiency, and availability of the required products.

Industry Type Retail, Preferably Ethnic Wear

Location Gurugram Near Moulsari Avenue, 27 Steps from Moulsari Metro Station (Permanent Location) Delhi - Karol Bagh (Temporary Location)

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Trend & Fabric Analysis: Stay updated with the latest fashion trends, fabric innovations, and consumer preferences to ensure market relevance.
- Report Study & Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of sales reports, product performance, and customer preferences to drive informed decision-making.
- Inventory Management & Zoning:
○ Maintain stock norms by categorizing products into A+ Zone, A Zone, and B Zone based on sales performance.

○ Ensure inventory turnover of at least 6 times a year.

○ Maintain a 60-day stock level and replenish based on sales trends.

○ Ensure best-selling stock is always available in A+ and A categories.

○ Identify slow-moving or unsold products and strategize clearance.
- Category-Wise & Market Segmentation:
○ Develop a category-wise merchandising plan.

○ Implement zoning strategies for product allocation across different store formats and markets.
- Database & IMS Management:
○ Utilize Excel and Inventory Management Systems (IMS) for real-time stock tracking.

○ Measure product performance through key merchandising metrics.
- Product Allocation & Replenishment:
○ Allocate products efficiently across digital and physical stores.

○ Reorder products based on sales performance (if sold or cleared, avoid reordering old stock).

○ Ensure new stores receive a curated selection of 100-200 designs.
- Shelf Life Optimization: Ensure timely clearance and refresh product displays to maintain fashion relevance.
- Vendor Management: Collaborate with vendors for timely order fulfillment and quality assurance.

**Key skills required**
- Strong analytical skills for data-driven decision-making.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Suite, and Inventory Management Systems.
- Knowledge of inventory optimization, sales forecasting, and category management.
- Effective time management and learning agility.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

**Salary Budget**
- 4.8 LPA - 6 LPA.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
