**Company Overview**:
We are a premier dance academy that has been established for over 9 years, operating three state-of-the-art international standard studio locations in Pune. With a track record of training over 1000 children, we are pioneers in the field of children's extracurricular activities, specializing in classical ballet discipline.

**Key Responsibilities1. Financial Accounting and Bookkeeping**
- Accurately record all financial transactions in compliance with accounting principles.
- Update and maintain books of accounts and records in a timely manner.
- Perform regular reconciliations of bank transactions, supplier statements, and customer accounts.

**2. Inventory and Payroll Management**
- Oversee inventory management for products sold at the academy, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.
- Calculate and process employee salaries, benefits, and deductions accurately and on time.

**3. Payments and Reconciliations**
- Manage customer payments, resolve disputes, and follow up on pending payments.
- Address payment and receipt-related inquiries from students and parents.
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable, including general ledger scrutiny.

**4. Taxation and Compliance**
- Perform TDS and GST calculations, filings, and timely return submissions (e.g., GSTR 1, GSTR 3B, GSTR 2A reco).
- Prepare and reconcile daily expense vouchers, bills, and party accounts.

**5. Financial Reporting**
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.
- Provide financial insights and reports for management decision-making.

**6. Cash and Expense Management**
- Conduct daily cash reconciliations with accounts and bank records.
- Monitor and manage the academy's overall financial health and cash flow.

**RequirementsQualifications and Experience**
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Additional certifications such as CA-Inter, CMA, or Tally certification are preferred.
- 2-3 years of relevant experience, ideally in an educational or similar institution.
- Experience with accounting software such as Tally ERP or Zoho Books.

**Skills and Knowledge**
- Proficiency in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Strong knowledge of GST (GSTR 1, GSTR 3B, GSTR 2A reco) and TDS (24Q & 26Q) return filings.
- Expertise in general ledger functions and month-end/year-end closures.
- Advanced skills in MS Excel and financial data analysis.
- Familiarity with payroll systems and financial audits.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

**Additional Information**
- **Experience Required**: Total 3-4 years in accounting, with preference for experience in schools or educational institutions.
- **Work Schedule**: Full-time, in-person.

**Pay and Benefits**
