Logistics Officer

**Job Description of Logistics Officer**:

- Selecting Transporters and negotiating Freight and Rates for loading from Byrnihat and Delivery across PAN India.
- Planning and monitoring inbound and outgoing deliveries.
- Placing trucks at plant for loading of Finished Goods
- Track trucks using Freight tiger or similar apps
- Update all vehicle movement in google sheets twice daily
- Check all truck documents such as RC, Fitness Certificate, License, All details on MPARVIHAN APP and keep records.
- Planning and monitoring inbound and outgoing deliveries.
- Take photos of Truck Drivers and keep records of truck, seal, check LR Copies and invoices Eway Bills etc.
- Updating and evaluating metrics to assess performance and implement enhancements.
- Ensuring all operations adhere to laws, guidelines, and ISO requirements as per standard Government policy and procedures.
- Maintaining records of transporters, transportation rates, transporter documents, driver’s details etc.
- Have good knowledge of vehicle tracking, drivers background checking, rc checking, license checking, interstate movement regulations etc.
- Should have good negotiating skills for finalizing rates with transporters or source alternative options.
- Prior working experience from Transport industry is mandatory
- Proficient in MS Office packages, should be able to create reports, use google sheets etc.
- Excellent Communication skills (speaking and writing)
- Well versed with Freight Tiger App and also be able to use it properly.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, logistics, supply chain, or relevant field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in similar role is must.
- In-depth knowledge of the manufacturing industry and the role of transporters.
- Solid understanding of logistics and inventory management software.
- Outstanding analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
