1. Evaluating Tools and Technologies for ECAT Monitoring
a. AWS monitoring tools
b. Third party monitoring systems like opentelemetry, Grafana and Prometheus
2. Interacting with Leads and Product Owners (POs) across Regions to define metrics and KPI
a. Identify regional compliance requirements and audit specifics.
b. Discuss the standard metrics versus custom regional KPIs that are essential for each area.
c. Create a shared understanding of the goals and expectations for the ECAT monitoring system.
3. Implementing the Monitoring Framework
a. Develop a unified monitoring dashboard, where region-specific metrics and global metrics are displayed in a single view.
b. Set up automated alerts based on defined thresholds for each KPI to ensure timely responses to issues.
c. Create regular reporting mechanisms to update stakeholders across regions on the system’s health and compliance status.
