**Role Description**

**We are hiring a Telugu News Reporter** for Kaizer News, a Sharkify brand, based in Hyderabad. This is a full-time, on-site role where you will be responsible for reporting, creating, and producing compelling Telugu news content, conducting interviews, and engaging audiences across platforms.

**Responsibilities**:

- **News Reporting and Research**:

- Cover and report on current events, breaking news, and feature stories relevant to Telugu audiences.
- Conduct in-depth research to ensure factual accuracy and relevance.
- Develop unique story ideas and pitch them to the editorial team.
- **Interviews and Field Reporting**:

- Identify and interview relevant personalities, including politicians, experts, and influencers.
- Prepare insightful and impactful questions for interviews.
- Travel to locations to cover live events, conduct on-ground reporting, and capture exclusive content.
- **Content Creation and Production**:

- Write, script, and produce engaging news content in Telugu.
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure high-quality video and audio output.
- Deliver news content in a clear, professional, and engaging tone on camera or during live broadcasts.
- **Audience Engagement**:

- Interact with viewers on social media platforms, responding to comments and encouraging discussions.
- Gather feedback from the audience and incorporate it to refine future content.
- **Marketing and Promotion**:

- Collaborate with the marketing team to promote content across social media, TV, and digital platforms.
- Create teasers and snippets to increase viewership and engagement.
- **Brand Representation**:

- Be the face of Kaizer News for Telugu audiences, reflecting the brand’s values and mission.
- Ensure all reporting aligns with Kaizer News’ editorial guidelines and ethics.
- **Continuous Learning and Innovation**:

- Stay updated on the latest trends in journalism, Telugu media, and audience preferences.
- Experiment with new storytelling formats and platforms to keep content fresh and engaging.

**Qualifications**
- Strong command of the Telugu language, with excellent writing and speaking skills.
- Previous experience in journalism or news reporting (preferably in Telugu media).
- Ability to conduct interviews and ask impactful questions.
- Knowledge of video production, editing, and content promotion is a plus.
- Charismatic on-screen presence with a professional demeanor.
- Passion for journalism, current affairs, and storytelling.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and adapt to a fast-paced newsroom environment.
