**Role and Responsibilities**:
The Furniture Draftsman will play a crucial role in our production department. The primary responsibility of the draftsman will be to create detailed technical drawings and plans for furniture manufacturing. The key responsibilities include:

- Creating detailed and accurate technical drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
- Collaborating with designers, engineers, and other team members to understand design requirements and specifications.
- Having a strong understanding of materials commonly used in furniture manufacturing and considering manufacturing processes during the drawing creation.
- Conducting thorough reviews of drawings to ensure accuracy and easy interpretation by the manufacturing team.
- Maintaining organized and up-to-date documentation for all drawings and revisions.
- Working with other team members, engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure design plans align with project objectives.
- A Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent in a relevant field.
- Prior experience or internship in a drafting role is advantageous.

**Required Skills**:

- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Excel software.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drafting.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and senior designers.
- Ability to work efficiently and meet project deadlines.
- Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in AutoCAD design.
- Eagerness to learn and grow in the field of design.
