Warehouse Supervisor

The Warehouse Supervisor oversees the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of a wide range of goods. The supervisor ensures that productivity targets are met and maintains health, safety, and hygiene standards. This role involves managing a team of warehouse staff and liaising with customers, suppliers, and transport companies.

Key Responsibilities:
**Warehouse Operations**:

- Supervise the daily operations of the warehouse, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping.
- Ensure the warehouse operates at peak efficiency, with customer satisfaction being the primary goal by supervising, organizing, directing, and training warehouse employees and establishing, monitoring, and managing operational goals.

**Team Management**:

- Manage and lead a team of warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation.
- Plan and coordinate work, ensuring adequate staffing levels.
- Motivate and manage the team to achieve and exceed productivity and quality targets.

**Inventory Control**:

- Oversee inventory management procedures to ensure stock accuracy and proper storage practices.
- Conduct regular stock checks and audits to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Implement and monitor stock control systems to ensure timely and accurate inventory data.

**Safety and Compliance**:

- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and warehouse safety protocols.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Train staff on safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.

**Process Improvement**:

- Continuously review and improve warehouse processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Implement lean warehousing practices to optimize space and labor utilization.
- Develop and implement warehouse policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.

**Customer Service**:

- Ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment to meet customer demands and expectations.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues related to warehouse operations.
- Liaise with suppliers and transport companies to ensure efficient delivery and receipt of goods.

**Reporting and Documentation**:

- Maintain accurate records of warehouse activities, including inventory levels, order status, and personnel performance.
- Generate regular reports on warehouse operations, performance metrics, and inventory levels.
- Provide management with insights and recommendations based on data analysis and reporting.

**MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN LOGISTICS INDUSTRY**

Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
