Key Responsibilities and Duties
- They are adept in the use of tools and technologies across tiers, and are proficient in working with systems infrastructure, creating, querying & manipulating databases, APIs and integration, Front-end code (HTML/CSS, bootstrap, React JS, Angular JS) and web stack back-end technologies (PHP, Python, Java, ruby on rails etc.).
- They have a sound understanding of CI/CD processes, agile development.
- They possess deep understanding of programming fundamentals and can learn new frameworks, languages and tools as required on projects.

**Job Description**:

- Hands on developer capable of debugging the system and fixing the production related issues.
- Strong ability to analyze functional needs that drive the analysis and technical design of quality technical solutions.
- Implements solutions that are aligned with business/IT strategies and complies with Nuveen’s Architectural standards.
- Maintains knowledge of emerging technologies; Provides mentoring and training to more junior staff.
- Handles complex operational tasks and recommends processing and technology changes.
- Investigate, analyze and document reported defects
- Create and maintain technical documentation using defined technical documentation templates that meet SDLC standards
- Leads and develops complex architecture requirements analysis to convert end user needs into technical solutions.
- Create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture
- Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements
- Communicates the design of the technical architecture clearly to other leaders within the organization.
- Designs the development and implementation of the overall architecture, and helps define "blueprint" for technical architecture to support mission needs.

Qualification / Skillsets (Python, AWS - EKS, S3, Lambda, Glue, EMR, RDS Data Stores, CloudFront, API Gateway, ), Snowflake)
- 5+ years of experience of IT platform implementation in a technical and analytical role
- Expertise in AWS data services such as Amazon Elastic Compute (EC2), Glue, Amazon S3, EKS, Lambda etc.
- Desirable to have worked on following tools: Eventbridge, AppFlow, AirFlow
- Must have worked in financial service industry with sound knowledge of investment management and its related concepts.
- Good Communication Skills
