The Pre-Primary Teacher is responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that fosters the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development of young children (typically aged 2 to 5 years). The teacher plans and implements age-appropriate activities and curriculum that promote foundational learning through play and exploration.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Develop and implement daily lesson plans that meet the learning needs of pre-primary students.
- Create a welcoming, inclusive classroom environment conducive to early learning.
- Foster children’s independence, creativity, and social development through play-based and structured activities.
- Use storytelling, music, games, art, and educational tools to support early literacy, numeracy, and motor skills.
- Observe and assess each child’s progress and development, maintaining accurate records and portfolios.
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress, behavior, and milestones.
- Ensure the health, safety, and hygiene of children by adhering to school policies and child protection standards.
- Collaborate with co-teachers, assistants, and other staff to create a cohesive and supportive team environment.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events.
- Maintain classroom discipline using positive behavior reinforcement strategies.
**Qualifications and Skills**:
- **Education**: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field. Montessori or Nursery Teacher Training (NTT) certification is an advantage.
- **Experience**: Minimum 1-2 years of experience working with preschool-aged children preferred.
- **Skills**:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, compassion, and enthusiasm for working with young children
- Creativity in lesson planning and classroom activities
- Good organizational and time management abilities
- Basic understanding of child development and learning theories
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Bhavnagar, Gujarat: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
**Education**:
- Higher Secondary(12th Pass) (preferred)
