**Description**:
Monitoring:
- Implement the M&E framework built for the core sectors, working in partnership with the programme managers
- Support the programme team in identifying data sets to be collected in line with the project outputs, outcome and impact level indicators at the time of Grant sanction
- Review and ensure project progress and quality of data reported by partners. Interact with NGO partners and travel to project sites (located pan India). Provide feedback on projects’ performance based on monitoring data findings.
- Ensure that the grant and its performance is aligned to the CSR provisions in the Companies Act and Rules.
Evaluation:
- Support programme teams in designing, coordinating and conducting project evaluations
- Coordinate and ensure timely mid-term and final project evaluations and impact level assessments with third party agencies
- Analyze findings of the evaluation to inform future decision making of grants
Reporting and analysis:
- Maintenance and management of the M&E database; analyse and aggregate findings, dashboard management.
- Putting together comprehensive reports (as and when required) for the Senior Management & Directors of the Foundation based on validated data from projects.
- Support the communications team with relevant data and analysis for the preparation of the Foundation’s Newsletters, Annual Reports, presentations etc. with validated project data.
**Functional details**:
- Education can include a Masters in Development Studies/Social Work/Management/Economics/Statistics
- 2-3 years of professional work experience in the Monitoring & Evaluation field. Work experience could be with another foundation or a non-profit or an independent Impact Assessment agency
- Good analytical skills
- Ability to understand budgets and financial figures
- Basic to intermediate understanding of statistics
- Knowledge of major evaluation methodologies and data collection and analysis methodologies.
- Good IT skills, including proficiency in data analysis
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Able to travel to project sites across India
