**Role description**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead architecture, design, and engineering of scalable data platforms and solutions in AWS Cloud and Big Data environments.
- Define technical direction and roadmap for cloud data migrations and modernizations.
- Architect and implement data warehousing solutions using AWS services like Glue, Lambda, EMR, and Redshift.
- Develop and maintain high-performance, scalable, and extensible data solutions.
- Create POCs, demos, and automation scripts leveraging reusable components.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to gather business and technical requirements.
- Document solution designs and artifacts (HLD, LLD, diagrams, STTM, etc.).
- Guide and mentor teams on cloud data architectures and best practices.
- Work on production-grade projects handling Terabyte to Petabyte-scale data.
- Educate customers and teams on architectural techniques and cloud technologies.

**Must-Have Skills & Experience**:

- 12+ years of experience in data architecture and engineering.
- Proven technical leadership in data platform modernization and cloud migrations.
- Strong knowledge of AWS services (compute, storage, serverless, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with AWS Glue, Lambda, EMR, Redshift.
- Minimum 5 years in data warehousing and modern data lake architecture.
- Minimum 5 years working with Big Data technologies: Hadoop, Spark, Hive, Kafka, HBase, MongoDB.
- Experience in performance tuning, optimization, and managing large-scale datasets.
- Practical experience with designing and maintaining production-grade data solutions.
- Strong knowledge of ETL frameworks and data ingestion pipelines.
- Experience working in Agile/DevOps environments.
