
Sales Assistant

**Responsibilities**:
- **Route Planning & Execution**: Develop and execute daily/weekly sales routes within assigned territories (e.g., Satellite, Vastrapur, Maninagar, etc.) to ensure comprehensive coverage of all active and potential retailers.
- **Order Collection**: Regularly visit steel utensils stores, plastic household shops, gift shops, stationery stores, kitchenware outlets, and other relevant retail partners to take orders for our range of **stainless steel lunch boxes and bottles**. Ensure all orders are accurate and complete.
- **Retailer Relationship Management**: Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with retailers, understanding their needs for our products and addressing any concerns or queries promptly.
- **Product Promotion & Merchandising**: Introduce new designs and features of our **stainless steel lunch boxes and bottles**, communicate ongoing promotions, and ensure optimal visibility and appealing merchandising of our products at the retail level.
- **Market Intelligence**: Gather feedback from retailers regarding the demand for our **stainless steel products**, competitor activities in the lunch box and bottle segment, and overall market trends. Report findings to the sales management team.
- **Coordination with Distributor**: Efficiently transfer collected orders to the designated distributor for timely processing and delivery.
- **Payment Follow-up (if applicable)**: Assist in follow-up on outstanding payments from retailers in coordination with the distributor/accounts team, if required.
- **Reporting**: Maintain accurate records of daily visits, orders collected, and sales activities. Submit regular reports as required by the sales manager.
- **Achieve Sales Targets**: Strive to meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets for our **stainless steel lunch boxes and and bottles** in the assigned territory.
Qualifications:
- **Education**: Bachelor's degree preferred.
- **Experience**: 1-3 years of experience in field sales, preferably in consumer durables, kitchenware, or a related industry. Experience dealing with retailers in Ahmedabad is a significant advantage.
- **Local Knowledge**: Strong geographical knowledge of Ahmedabad and its various localities (e.g., Satellite, Vastrapur, Maninagar, etc.) is essential.
- **Communication Skills**: Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to converse in Gujarati is highly desirable.
- **Sales Acumen**: Proven ability to understand customer needs, present the benefits of our **stainless steel products**, and close sales effectively.
- **Self-Motivated**: Highly driven, disciplined, and able to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- **Organizational Skills**: Good planning and organizational skills to manage daily routes and reporting.
- **Vehicle**: Must possess a valid driving license and a two-wheeler for daily travel.
