About the Team

The Enterprise Data Services organization in Business Technology takes pride in

enabling data driven business outcomes to develop Workday’s growth through

trusted data excellence, innovation and architecture thought leadership. The

team's main objective is developing and supporting Data Services, Data

Warehouse and self service Analytics, bring to bear groundbreaking cloud data

platforms.

About the Role

As the Agile Project manager/Scrum master, you will be working with data

product owners and alongside the data engineering team to deliver data

methodology Agile principles. You will guide the Scrum teams efficiently through

the delivery cycle and introduce improvement strategies to optimize where

be passionate about building trusted data products and insight to enable

decision making at scale.

About You

Key Duties:

- Coordinate with various product owners and data engineering organizations to deliver products using Agile/Scrum practices
- Assess the Agile maturity of the scrum teams and mentor the team through delivery metrics
- Fostering a collaborative and safe environment where problems can be raised, with an emphasis in problem solving and systemic improvement
- Facilitating discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution within team
- Support engineering leads with respect to product backlog refinement and maintenance

Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or technical project management in data engineering, analytics or BI organization
- Understanding of Data integrations, Data management, Data Analytics, Cloud environments
- Defining new agile dashboards to track metrics
- Success track record in championing agile practice through coaching and mentoring
- First level Scrum Master certification (CSM or PSM I)

Other Qualifications
- Experience with AWS cloud data technologies
- Prior experience working with distributed teams in different timezones
- Knowledge of Business KPIs, Metric definitions, updating metadata
- Experience with Atlassian products and handling product backlogs
