Sound Technician

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Sound System Setup and Maintenance**:

- Install, configure, and calibrate audio equipment, including microphones, speakers, mixing consoles, and amplifiers.
- Test audio systems for performance quality and troubleshoot any issues before, during, or after events.
- **Live Sound Operation**:

- Operate soundboards and control audio levels during live events to ensure balanced and clear audio output.
- Mix live audio for performances, speeches, and multimedia presentations, ensuring seamless transitions and effects.
- Coordinate with performers and event coordinators for proper microphone and monitor placements.
- **Event Coordination and Collaboration**:

- Work closely with event organizers, performers, and technical teams to meet specific audio requirements.
- Ensure proper synchronization between sound, lighting, and visual elements during events.
- **Equipment Inventory and Upkeep**:

- Maintain an accurate inventory of audio equipment and accessories.
- Perform regular maintenance and repairs to keep equipment in excellent working condition.
- **Compliance and Safety**:

- Adhere to safety guidelines for handling electrical and sound equipment.
- Ensure all setups comply with local regulations and noise-level standards.

**Qualifications and Skills**
- **Experience**:

- Proven experience as a sound or audio technician in live events, or a related field.
- Familiarity with audio systems, signal flow, and troubleshooting techniques.
- **Skills**:

- Proficiency in operating digital and analog audio consoles.
- Knowledge of audio editing and mixing software (e.g., Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Audacity).
- Strong understanding of acoustics and sound reinforcement principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
- **Additional Requirements**:

- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Ability to lift and handle heavy audio equipment safely.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
