English Language Coach - Kindergarten

Arete International School is looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic **English Language Coach** for its kindergarten division, **Arete Juniors**. This position is ideal for fresh graduates or experienced teachers who possess excellent communication skills, a strong command of the English language, and a passion for teaching young learners. Familiarity with the **Oxford International Curriculum**, **IGCSE**, or **IB curricula** is highly desirable. The English Language Coach will play a vital role in building the foundational language skills of young learners, fostering their confidence and enthusiasm for communication.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Language Development**:

- Teach and reinforce foundational English language skills, including listening, speaking, reading, and writing, through engaging and age-appropriate activities.
- Foster a love for storytelling, rhymes, and creative expression among young learners.

**Curriculum Implementation**:

- Plan and deliver lessons aligned with the **Oxford International Curriculum** or similar frameworks, incorporating interactive and innovative teaching methods.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching aids, and activities tailored to the diverse needs of kindergarten students.

**Student Engagement**:

- Create a positive and stimulating classroom environment that encourages active participation and curiosity.
- Use creative strategies, including play-based learning, music, and visual aids, to enhance language acquisition.

**Collaboration and Communication**:

- Work closely with colleagues and parents to monitor and support students' progress.
- Communicate effectively with parents during regular updates, meetings, and events.

**Professional Development**:

- Stay updated with best practices in early childhood language education.
- Participate in training sessions and workshops to continuously improve teaching methodologies.

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, Early Childhood Education, or a related field.
- Familiarity with the **Oxford International Curriculum**, **IGCSE**, or **IB curricula** (preferred).
- Freshers with excellent communication skills and a passion for teaching are encouraged to apply.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills to build rapport with young learners, parents, and colleagues.

**Preferred Attributes**
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Previous experience in early childhood education (advantageous but not mandatory).
