Kitchen Designer

**Responsibilities**:
1 Kitchen Designer Or related to interior experience 2 to 3 year Minimum

3 Familiarity with appropriate design and visualisation tools.

4 Portfolio of completed blueprints, plus completed kitchens.

6 Clear communication and excellent customer service skills.

7 Active listening skills and attention to detail.

8 Excellent organisational and time management skills.

Kitchen Designer Skills and Requirements

1 Meeti with clients to ascertain the intended functions and appearance of each space.

2 Anticipate and inform clients of additional features which may be of use to them.

3 Careful consideration to the placement of water and electrical systems to ensure safety.

4 Create a plan which details the layout and appearance of all instilments and loose furniture.

5 Suggest appropriate materials and finishes.

6 Assist clients to select and supervise the work of independent contractors, so that their duties are conducted in accordance with clients’ visions.

7 Inform clients about appropriate care for their kitchens.

8 Keep a record of hours and activities completed to ensure that clients are billed accurately.

9 Observe prescribed building and safety regulations.

10 Prior experience as a Kitchen Designer.

11 Passion for your work and design.

12 Familiarity with appropriate design and visualisation tools.

13 Portfolio of completed blueprints, plus completed kitchens.

14 In-depth knowledge of and strict adherence to the area’s building codes.

15 Clear communication and excellent customer service skills.
