We are looking for a UX Designer to join our UX team, reporting to the senior manager of User Experience Design. In this role, you will design experiences for our networking and cybersecurity SaaS products. You will work closely with many parts of the Infoblox organization, including UX Research, Product managers, Engineering, and Product Marketing, to ensure on-time and successful delivery of our products and solutions.
**What you’ll do**:
- Maintain our design pattern library in Figma
- Establish workflows and UI/UX designs based on new or existing patterns and understanding of end users
- Create design artifacts for usability testing and delivery to Engineering
- Demonstrate competency in interaction design, iterative design, and workflow analysis
- Actively participate in user research by taking notes and participating in debriefing sessions
- Work collaboratively with front-end engineers to improve and involve our design system
- Modify existing patterns or create new design patterns
- Support senior designers in ensuring successful delivery of UX designs
**What you’ll bring**:
- Minimum 5 years of UX design experience with a portfolio that shows a concrete understanding of design thinking approaches
- Knowledge of Agile software development methodology
- Experience with UX Design tools such as Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch, etc.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a UX design-related field
**What success looks like**:
After six months, you will
- Be fully engaged with our UX team
- Be knowledgeable about our design and software development processes
- Support the creation of design deliverables such as task flows, wireframes, and Figma prototypes
- Support and maintain our Figma component library
After about a year, you will
- Be knowledgeable about our products and their capabilities
- Understand our product domain areas
- Independently create design artifacts for user research and implementation
