Job Requirements

The Purpose of the role
The role is to lead CBSI’s Actuarial Pricing Team. The team supports the Chubb onshore offices with pricing work. The individual is expected to be a qualified actuary and have 12+ years of relevant experience including demonstrated leadership capabilities.

This position requires a person with experience in pricing work. We are looking for an ambitious, enthusiastic and self-motivated leader. The person also needs to be a strong communicator, confident presenter and be a positive driver of team dynamics.

The Actuarial Pricing Team includes more than 50 actuaries and actuarial analysts and is growing. Together with the team, you will be expected to produce high quality results.
- and long-term planning, team status updates, capacity management, etc. Manage the teams in terms of performance, coaching & mentoring and bridging the gap to ensure the needs of business are met. Manage all engagement activities of the team, minimize attrition and support a robust recruiting effort to attract new talent.
Implement a formal training curriculum and program to quickly onboard new hires.
Ensure appropriate structure / governance is in place to deliver on goals.

Work Experience
- 12+ years of relevant experience in general insurance domain with experience in pricing across a range of classes.
- Qualified Actuary.
- Ability to work with multiple projects and changing priorities.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, critical thinking skills.
- Experience building or conceptualizing automation solutions within the actuarial functions.
- Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Understands the importance of developing and maintaining positive relationships with team members by encouraging cross-team and upward input.
- Must be willing to work from the Bangalore office.
