About the Role
As a Data Steward in Australia Retail, you’ll play a key member of our Business Solution teams utilising well-managed data processes to ensure data is available for use, fit for purpose and being used in customer remediation as expected and compliant with standards

What will your day look like?
**As a Data Steward, you will**:
Supporting remediation process execution, escalating operational incidents and performing triage, level 1 & level 2 support per service agreement
Validating and reconciling remediation process data to ensure data completeness, integrity and accuracy
Management of data environments including (but not limited to) recycling of passwords, management of code / data deployments, and creation of new squad data / solution environments in accordance with internal standard
Leveraging data technical skills (primarily SQL, Python and/or PySpark) to code scripts to support processing of client squad remediation service requests

The ‘must have’ knowledge, skill and experience (KSE) the role requires are:
Ability to collaborate across multiple geographies with diverse colleagues / stakeholders at varying levels of seniority.
Good experience with tools and techniques used in data analysis (at least one of SQL, Python, PySpark) and management (at least one of Excel, Unix, Big Data/Hadoop, QlikSense, schedulers, Atlassian collaboration tools - JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket etc.).
Ability to learn and build knowledge of remediation data platforms, operations, and standard services so as to be able to execute services and troubleshoot technical issues competently.
The ‘good to have’ knowledge, skill and experience (KSE) the role requires are:
ANZ Product (primarily Loans and/or Cards, but not limited to these) and business process knowledge.
Prior experience working in an Operations / Support environment.
Ability to effectively communicate and present to stakeholders (translate technical into non-technical and vice-versa).
