**Job Summary**(**CloudOps Trainee - I (PlatOps)**)**

The PlatOps Engineer Trainee is responsible for ensuring the stability, scalability, and performance of the company’s platform and infrastructure. This role focuses on the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and monitoring of the platform, as well as supporting the deployment of new features and updates. The Platform Operations Engineer works closely with development, security, and other IT teams to ensure a reliable and efficient production environment.

**Job Description.**
- Maintain and support the platform’s infrastructure, ensuring it is scalable, secure, and reliable.
- Perform regular system health checks, capacity planning, and performance tuning to optimize platform efficiency.
- Manage platform upgrades, patches, and configuration changes with mínimal downtime.
- Lead the incident response process, including troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and documentation of incidents.
- Develop and maintain incident response plans and playbooks to ensure rapid resolution of platform issues.
- Develop and maintain scripts and automation tools to streamline platform operations, including deployment, monitoring, and scaling processes.
- Automate routine tasks to improve efficiency and reduce the likelihood of human error.
- Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to support the deployment of new features, updates, and fixes.
- Ensure that deployment processes are smooth, with mínimal impact on platform performance and availability.
- Ensure the platform is compliant with relevant industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with the security team to conduct regular security assessments and audits.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of platform configurations, processes, and incident reports.
- Provide regular reports on platform performance, incidents, and improvement initiatives to management.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, DevOps, security, and support teams, to ensure seamless platform operations.
- Provide support and guidance to other teams on platform-related issues and best practices.
- Experience managing cloud-based platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and working with virtualization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and networking fundamentals.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation purposes.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- On-call rotation for incident management and platform support.
- To work in rotational shifts
