**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Data Visualization Development**:

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data requirements and design effective visualizations using Power BI.
- Create compelling and interactive dashboards, reports, and data models that convey insights and trends to various audiences.
- **Data Integration and Transformation**:

- Utilize Power Query within Power BI to extract, transform, and load data from various sources, ensuring data quality and accuracy.
- Develop and maintain data transformation logic to meet reporting needs.
- **Advanced Analytics and Insights**:

- Implement DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) calculations to support advanced analytics and calculations within Power BI.
- Explore data to identify patterns, trends, and outliers that contribute to actionable insights.
- **Performance Optimization**:

- Optimize data models, queries, and report elements for improved performance and responsiveness.
- Collaborate with IT and database teams to ensure efficient data retrieval and integration.
- **Data Governance and Security**:

- Ensure compliance with data governance standards and security protocols while handling sensitive and confidential data.
- Implement role-based access controls to restrict data access as needed.
- **Stakeholder Collaboration**:

- Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, refine visualizations, and align Power BI solutions with business goals.
- Provide training and support to business users to enhance their Power BI skills.
- **Quality Assurance**:

- Conduct thorough testing and validation of Power BI reports to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to business requirements.
- **Continuous Improvement**:

- Stay updated with the latest Power BI features, best practices, and industry trends to continually enhance data visualization capabilities.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a Power BI Specialist, Data Analyst, or similar role with a strong emphasis on Power BI development.
- Expertise in creating compelling visualizations, dashboards, and reports using Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
- Proficiency in Power Query for data transformation and integration.
- Solid understanding of DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) for building complex calculations.
- Strong analytical skills to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Experience with data visualization best practices, UI/UX design principles, and data storytelling.
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts, SQL, and data modeling.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and quality.
- Experience with other BI tools, such as Tableau or QlikView, is a plus.
- Relevant Power BI certifications are advantageous.
