**Overview**

The EUC Desktop Engineer will be a member of the Global Workplace Services. This resource will be primarily responsible for utilizing technical skills to coordinate enhancements and deployment efforts and to provide insight and recommendations for implementing EUC services and solutions. This resource will provide thought leadership, provide technical oversight, and ensure that EUC solutions meet PepsiCo requirements.

**Responsibilities**
- Contribute to the development of standards, policies and procedures and adhere to IT standards, policies and procedures
- Inform stakeholders of the strategy for deployment of new implementations, as well as, the maintenance and upgrades of existing equipment
- Participate and manage technical project review meetings to ensure technical designs meet the client's operational requirements and infrastructure/security standards
- Understand software development and Agile best practices as it relates to work coordination, acceptance criteria, and deployment management
- Ability to successfully lead projects related to the provisioning of desktop and other general office and media solutions (client and server)
- Excellent troubleshooting skills on Desktop operating systems (OS) and relevant tools. OS include, but are not limited to: Mac OS X 10.8.x 10.9.x10.10.x, Windows 10 Enterprise, Windows 11 Enterprise
- Develop methods and procedures for the deployment of PC and Mac OS X machines in a corporate environment
- Design and create reports within management systems (SCCM and JAMF) for strategic decision making (Licensing, Patch/Vulnerability, Asset Intelligence etc.), ensuring that software distribution, patch management and upgrades can be managed centrally.
- Maintain expertise in relevant areas of engineering and architecture (e.g., network, compute, collaboration and communication)
- Identify potential areas requiring changes to or development of new policies and procedures

**Qualifications**

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline and at least 6 -8 years of technology consulting or other relevant industry experience

Overall 6 - 8 years of Core Windows / SCCM / Jamf Engineering experience
- Very good knowledge and technical proficiency in SCCM/MECM/Jamf and working experience in large environments
- Very good knowledge of Microsoft Windows OS and MAC OS architecture
- Very good knowledge of OS Imaging & Deployment via SCCM/MECM/MDT/WDS/Jamf
- Very good knowledge of Device Hardware assessment for various use cases and theirs integration into SCCM / Jamf OS deployment
- Very good understanding of SCCM / Jamf Application packaging, management, Windows 10 / MAC OS servicing framework
- Good Knowledge of Windows VDI / WVD
- Knowledge of Windows Emulators such as TTWIN, Reflections, etc
- Designing & Managing Group Policy
- Strong PowerShell scripting experience
- Understanding of Active Directory including DNS, DHCP & Networking
- Good Exposure to Cloud Management and Modern management features
- Knowledge of end-to-end replication process flow, Reporting, SCCM/MECM/Jamf database, Troubleshooting various issues and diagnosing problems in the SCCM/MECM/Jamf area.
- Strong technical & non-technical communication skills, both written & spoken
- Ability to create business cases and interpret them into technical requirements
- Sound knowledge for VDI environment functions and their management
- Experience in developing standards, guidelines, and policies that enable the highest quality within the SCCM/MECM/Jamf area.
- Good Experience on Service Now Incident / Service Request Management
- Proven knowledge of Desktop imaging and standardizing the images, package deployments and document procedures
- Experience in Mac OS X Directory Services integration with AD Proficiency in UNIX command line including Shell scripting and Apple Script Knowledge of modular deployment methodologies and image maintenance OS X
- MSI packaging technology, tools and delivery methods.
- Thin client delivery devices and supporting infrastructure tools

Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with experience exercising mature judgment. Self lerner
- Strong demonstrated experience in end-user device technologies, asset management systems, security tools, desktop deployment and annual refresh strategies, and utilities related to desktop service
- Strong demonstrated experience with Active Directory and laptop/desktop/printer hardware architecture
- Knowledge of modular deployment methodologies and image maintenance Mac OS X administration: Server Admin, Remote Desktop, NetBoot/Net Install, Deploy Studio
- Relevant professional certifications beneficial: MCSE, Jamf, Citrix, ITIL, etc.
