Factory Foreman

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Oversee the daily operations of the furniture manufacturing factory, including production schedules, inventory management, and quality control
- Manage and motivate factory workers, including scheduling and assigning tasks, training and mentoring new hires, and providing feedback and guidance to improve performance
- Ensure that all furniture pieces are crafted to our high standards of quality and craftsmanship, and that they meet the specifications of each individual client order
- Continuously improve production processes and procedures to increase efficiency and reduce waste
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment, including enforcing safety regulations and protocols
- Collaborate with design and sales teams to ensure that production meets the needs and timelines of each client order
- Maintain accurate production records and reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in furniture manufacturing, woodworking, or a related field preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in furniture manufacturing or a related field, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role
- Strong knowledge of furniture manufacturing techniques, materials, and processes
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively to improve production processes and procedures
- Experience with inventory management and quality control systems
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working with hand tools and woodworking machinery
- Passion for artisanal furniture and craftsmanship
