**Responsibilities**:
Lilly has one of if not the strongest pipeline in the industry with an unprecedented number of new medicine launches planned on the immediate horizon. To realize success with this pipeline, the DevSecOps solution architect will work across the commercial organization to identify, communicate, and measure best practices, processes, and capabilities. Essential responsibilities are:

- Identify, educate, and measure DevSecOps practices across the commercial organization
- Align business area technology projects, purchases, and operations with enterprise DevSecOps standards, principles, and technologies.
- Influence enterprise DevSecOps roadmap to support commercial business strategy
- Identify short and long-term investment roadmap priorities needed to evolve DevSecOps people, process, and technology capabilities to create an industry leading culture and practice with an embedded security by design mindset
- Partner with external and internal SMEs to identify architectures to maximize DevSecOps benefits
- Consult with project delivery organizations as needed (e.g., CI/CD best practices)
- Create, vet, and educate the organization on reference architecture artefacts (e.g., patterns, accelerators, tools, standards, demos)
- Coach and mentor resources within the organization on how to best execute in a cross-functional operating model, partnering with enterprise and local resources.

**Basic Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree with strong technical leadership experience and the ability to influence complex business/technical decisions across a broad domain
- 3+ years of experience working on Data/Analytics projects
- Excellent quantitative skills with proven ability to combine data-driven analytical rigor with strategic thinking to drive insights and influence business decisions
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to build internal/external networks/partnerships with diverse groups of individuals
- Ability to influence external organizations (e.g., vendor roadmaps, partnerships)

**Additional Skills/Preferences**:

- Experience with technologies/practices such as: GitHub Actions, Confluence, Jira, AWS, Python, test & process automation, SAST/DAST
- 3+ years of relevant experience within pharmaceutical, or related healthcare industry
- Good foundation in underlying principles of compliance, security, and privacy
- Experience within an agile delivery and/or portfolio management (SAFe experience a plus)
- Travel required: Limited travel to vendors and industry conferences is required
