Job Title: Social Media Intern

Objectives of this role
- Assist in the creation and execution of social media strategies across platforms like Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter.
- Help develop creative content that drives engagement and brand awareness.
- Monitor analytics and track performance to optimize social media strategies.
- Stay updated on social media trends, tools, and algorithms to keep our strategy competitive.

Your tasks
- Create, schedule, and publish posts across all social media platforms.
- Design eye-catching visuals and write engaging captions for campaigns.
- Monitor social media accounts, respond to comments, and engage with followers.
- Research trending hashtags and topics relevant to the brand’s audience.
- Assist in running paid ad campaigns on social media platforms.
- Track and analyse social media metrics to provide performance insights.

Required skills and qualifications
- Passion for social media and an understanding of key platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter).
- Basic knowledge of design tools like Canva or Photoshop.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box.
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, or a related field.

Preferred skills and qualifications
- Familiarity with social media scheduling tools like Hootsuite or Buffer.
- Knowledge of running paid ads on platforms like Facebook and Instagram.
- Basic video editing skills (e.g., using tools like CapCut, or Canva).
