Broad outline of the Role
L3 SME works as an expert on Private Network Technology ( Core RAN Transport Cloud ) based on 3GPP standards

Responsibilty includes & not limited to

Sytem Level view of the Network Deployed for the Customer(s)

Analyze & throubleshoot Technical problems in Network with L2 SMEs & OEM Tech Support
Maintains & Enable Network Stack with latest software release from different OEMs
Work closely with Fault/Performance/Configuration function in NoC to proactively identify potential Problems
Solves the Technical issues reported by Customers which are not solved at L2 level
Prepares RCAs & RFOs for any outages in Customer Network

Aligned to eTOM Model /Jira based ticketing tools
Customer interactions & Customer Management

Key Responsibilities
Advanced Technical Support, System Level on 5G & LTE-U
To work with business & Technical teams to ensure that Customer Networks are operational as per the technical & business requirements.
Coordinate with OEMs High level support for problem identification troubleshooting & resolution of a customer Problem
Plan,Verify implementation& testing of software & Patches, configuration changes to be deployed in customer Network with adequate testing in Lab before GO Live

Minimum BE-Electronics & Communications / Telecommunication Engineering / Electronics and Electrical / etc with 10-12 years of experience.
Other knowledge/skills Technical Competencies

Strong knowledge and hands on experience on Core RAN Edge Cloud & Applications and Network functions for 3GPP and Non-3GPP wireless technologies such as 2G/3G/4G/ 5G
Good knowledge on standards like eTOM
Hands on experience on managing NoC of any wireless Network preferably 5G SA /LTE VoLTE
Should have sound knowledge and experience on planning, configuration and solution design for 5G Core network finctions such as Mobility Management, Access Management, Subscriber Database Management, Slicing functions, User plane and control plane functions, Session management, interconnect with other networks, policy management, security management, etc to facilitate complex troubleshooting
Should have strong awareness on 3GPP standards and relevant releases specifically 3GPP Rel.15,16 and incoming Rel.17 from the 5G networks perspective.
Should have strong knowledge and awareness of 5G Standalone and Non-standalone network architectures, signalling network architecture, protocols, their elements and functioning.
Should have worked on integration of 5G Core networks with 5G NR for telecom services providers and private 5G network scenarios.
