As a Data Scientist and customer insights specialist, you will play a crucial role in driving data-driven decision-making and business growth. This position will require you to perform advanced data analysis, provide actionable insights, and make strategic recommendations particularly in the areas of customer insights and trends, and revenue metrics and forecasting. You will work closely with various departments, including sales, finance, dealing, operations, compliance, and more. Your responsibilities will encompass not only general data analysis and dashboard creation but also extend to developing and deploying data science models and predictive algorithms. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to identify trends, solve complex problems, and optimize business processes, having the opportunity help drive real change in our efforts to use data to make smarter, more efficient and more impactful decisions.

Primary responsibilities (not limited to)
- Conduct analysis and reporting on a varied range of initiatives being undertaken at the company
- Conduct quantitative analysis, data mining, and present insights related to customer behavior, trading patterns, internal processes, and external factors
- Develop, validate, test, and maintain analytical solutions, dashboards, statistical models, and predictive algorithms to enhance decision-making processes
- Facilitate ad hoc analytics requests from various departments including Sales, Dealing, Operations, Compliance and others
- Liaise with the Data Warehouse team regarding required metrics for analysis
- Define, evaluate, and monitor key metrics for business initiatives
- Share knowledge and expertise with other team members to enable continued team skills development
- Design and implement machine learning models to extract insights from customer trading and revenue data

**Requirements**:

- 3+ years of experience in data science/analytics
- Proven experience in statistical analysis, with a deep understanding of concepts like hypothesis testing, correlation, regression, and distributions
- Proficiency in Python
- Strong SQL skills, including complex query writing
- Familiarity with various machine learning techniques and predictive modeling
- Exceptional attention to detail and a track record of delivering high-accuracy solutions promptly
- Demonstrated ownership of quality control processes and error resolution in data analysis
- Experience in conducting research and implementing solutions to improve processes and generate revenue
- Experience in version control software such as git;
- Intuitive, аnalytical mind and good problem solving skills. Strong desire to learn new analytical skills and techniques
- Able to deal with ambiguity in defining activities and direction. Proactive and persistent. Self-motivated and able to work independently. Able to work efficiently with international staff
- Experience with agile practices preferred
- Excellent written and spoken English skills

Working days/hours: Monday to Friday; Fully working from the office - Indiqube Alpine (Transit) 7th Floor, Jawaharlal Nehru Road, Guindy Area - adjacent to Ekattuthangal Metro Station.
